Spreading Holiday Cheer: Support Kids Battling Cancer with The Bennett Project

This holiday season, we are proud to partner with The Bennett Project, a local non-profit dedicated to supporting St. Louis families facing pediatric cancer. In memory of Bennett Reinier, who bravely fought colon cancer and an inoperable brain tumor, The Bennett Project stands by families through every stage of their cancer journey, offering direct financial assistance and social support.
What Does The Bennett Project Do?
Their programs are designed to connect families who understand the unique challenges of pediatric cancer. From toy and gift card drives for kids undergoing treatment to quarterly family social events, birthday clubs, family photo sessions, and extracurricular activity grants, The Bennett Project offers vital support to children and their families. Proudly volunteer-run, over 96% of donations go directly into family support and programming.
Their standout initiative is the annual holiday event, where 75-80 families of children undergoing cancer treatment gather to celebrate. Parents can pick out gifts donated by the community while kids enjoy games, crafts, and a visit from Santa. This program is powered by generous donations, a large toy and gift card drive, and over 200 volunteers.

Feel State Florissant is excited to again be a donation collection site for The Bennett Project’s special holiday toy drive. From now through December 15th, you can drop off a new toy at 444 Howdershell Rd. Florissant, MO 63031 and help spread joy to a child battling cancer. As a thank you for your generosity, we’re offering a Packs penny pre-roll with every new toy donation.
